Community Policing

The Community Policing Division lead by Officer Terry Goan has instituted several programs for the Brunswick area including neighborhood watches, child safety seat checks, child fingerprinting and an Alzheimer's registration program.
The Community Policing Division is an active member of the Merrymeeting Bay Triad which is an organization comprised of police, fire, sheriffs department and senior citizens organizations whose goal is to help protect the elderly from being victimized.

ELDERCARE - PDF FORMAT  

The Eldercare program although designed for the aging members of the community has expanded to encompass anybody that may have Alzheimer's or a similar affliction that affects their mental status. The program allows a caregiver to provide vital emergency contact information, medical information as well as a photograph to the police department.
